Identify the quality of power cords

1、 If the quality certificate of the household appliance is qualified, then the quality of the power cord of the household appliance should also be inspected and there should be no major problems.

2、 Check the cross-section of the wire, and the copper or aluminum core surface of the qualified product should have a metallic luster. Copper or aluminum with a black surface or a white surface indicates that it has been oxidized and is a non-conforming product.

3、 The appearance of the power cord is qualified. The insulation (sheath) layer of the product is soft, flexible, and stretchable, and the surface layer is tight, smooth, without roughness, and has a pure glossiness. The surface of the insulation (sheath) layer should have clear and scratch resistant markings. Products produced with non-standard insulation materials have a transparent, brittle, and non ductile insulation layer.

4、 The core of the power cord is made of pure copper raw material and has undergone strict wire drawing, annealing, and stranding. The surface should be bright, smooth, without burrs, with a flat stranding tightness, soft and resilient, and not easily broken.

5、 Electrical appliances with different lengths of power cords require different lengths of power cords. Decoration owners should first understand the length of qualified power cords before purchasing, so that they can have a clear understanding when choosing electrical appliances.
